Chittaranjan Locomotive Works invites Applications for the Recruitment of Apprentice vacancies for ITI passed out (NCVT Only) & Non-ITI.

1. Fitter: 200 Posts (UR-101, OBC-54, SC-30, ST-15)

2. Turner: 20 Posts (UR-10, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-2)

3. Machinist: 56 Posts (UR-29, OBC-15, SC-8, ST-4)

4. Welder (G & E): 88 Posts (UR-44, OBC-24, SC-13, ST-7)

5. Electrician: 112 Posts (UR-57, OBC-30, SC-17, ST-8)

6. Ref. & A.C. Mechanic: 04 Posts (UR-2, OBC-1, SC-1, ST-0)

7 Painter (G): 12 Posts (UR-6, OBC-3, SC-2, ST-1)

B. Non-ITI Candidates: 123 Posts

1. Fitter: 50 Posts (UR-24, OBC-14, SC-8, ST-4)

2. Turner: 05 Posts (UR-3, OBC-1, SC-1, ST-0)

3. Machinist: 14 Posts (UR-7, OBC-4, SC-2, ST-1)

4. Welder (G & E): 22 Posts (UR-11, OBC-6, SC-3, ST-2)

5. Electrician: 28 Posts (UR-14, OBC-8, SC-4, ST-2)

6. Ref. & A.C. Mechanic: 01 Post (UR-1)

7. Painter (G): 03 Posts (UR-2, OBC-1)

Qualification:

For ITI Candidates: 10th passed with ITI (NCVT) Certificate in the relevant trade.

For Non-ITI Candidates: Candidate must pass in Matriculation/10th class in 10+2 examination system or equivalent examination from Recognized Board, i.e. Board

which are recognized by the “Council of Boards of School Education in India” (CBSE) only.

Age Limit:

For ITI Candidates: 15-24 Years as on 01/07/2015

For Non-ITI Candidates: 15-22 Years as on 01/07/2015

Age relaxation is applicable 10 years for PwD & for Ex-Servicemen as per rules.

Application Fee (Non-Refundable): Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- through Bank Draft on any Nationalized Bank or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA & CAO, CLW/ Chittaranjan, payable at Chittaranjan. (No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Service Man, Women, Minorities & Economically backward classes)

Selection Process: on the basis of marks obtained in the Matriculation Examination or 10th class in the 10+2 Examination system and having ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

Starting Date for Submission of Application: 24/07/2015
Last Date for Submission of Application: 24/08/2015

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed format on A-4 size paper affixing one passport size photograph duly signed on the top by the candidate and attested by the Gazetted Officer, fee, two self-addressed envelopes (size 11" x 5") duly affixed with Rs. 5/- postage stamp on each envelope, self-attested and also attested by a Gazetted Officer on all the relevant copies of documents. Application should be sent only by ordinary post and not through registered post/speed post/courier service. The application should be addressed to -
