1. Post Name: Executive Trainee (Mechanical) 
   No. of Post: 14 Posts (GEN-07, OBC-02, SC-02, ST-03)
   Qualification: Mechanical/ Production/ Production & Industrial Engg/ Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation/ Power Engineering with Minimum 60% aggregate.

2. Post Name: Executive Trainee (Electrical)
   No. of Post: 10 Posts (GEN-05, OBC-01, SC-02, ST-02)
   Qualification: Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics /Electrical, Instrumentation & Control/Power System and High Voltage/Power Electronics/Power Engineering with Minimum 60% aggregate.

3. Post Name: Executive Trainee (Civil)
   No. of Post: 01 Post (GEN-01)
   Qualification: Civil Engineering with Minimum 60% aggregate.

4. Post Name: Executive Trainee (C&I)
   No. of Post: 05 Posts (GEN-02, OBC-01, SC-01, ST-01)
   Qualification: Instrumentation/ Control & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering with Minimum 60% aggregate.

   Qualification: Mechanical/ Production/ Production & Industrial Engg/ Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation/ Power Engineering with minimum 60% in aggregate from Recognised University/Institution.

2. Post Name: Executive Trainee (Civil)
   No. of Post: 01 Post (ST-01)
   Qualification: Civil Engineering with Minimum 60% aggregate.

Note: Candidates desirous of pursuing career in OPGC are required to appear for GATE-2015 in the concerned discipline. The GATE papers along with GATE paper codes are given below:

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be based on the order of merit based on the GATE 2015 Score only. Only GATE-2015 marks will be considered. The GATE 2014 marks or marks scored prior to that will not be considered. 

The Recruitment & Selection Process will take place in TWO STAGES as mentioned below:

First stage:  Candidates fill the online application form/ registration in the month of January 2015.

Second stage: Uploding the GATE- 2015 admit card and mark sheet along with marks secured to be filled in the box provided in the month of April. After complete the second stage take a print out of submitted online application form and send through speed post/ courier/post along with copy  GATE- 2015 admit card, mark sheet to the address Odisha power generation corporation limited, HR department , Zone A, 7th floor, Fortune tower, Chandrashekherpur , bhubaneswar -751024 reach on or before 30/04/2015. Envelope containing application superscribed with "Application for the ET and name of the posts".

First Stage: Online Registration in January, 2015
Commencement of OPGC Online submission of applications: 01/01/2015
Last date for online submission of applications: 31/01/2015

Second Stage: Online Updation of GATE-2015 marks in April, 2015
Commencement of OPGC Online submission of GATE-2015: 01/04/2015
Last date for online submission GATE-2015 marks for OPGC: 15/04/2015
Last date for receipt of Printed Application form in OPGC through Speed Post/Courier/Post only: 30/04/2015
