Job Summary: Jharkhand Space Application Center (JSAC), Ranchi has to recruit bright, hardworking, reliable and competent professional on purely contract basis for the project executed in JSAC. The posts are on contract basis for a minimum period of one year.
The reservation rules of Government of Jharkhand will be applicable for OBC, SC and ST for the candidate having their domicile in the State of Jharkhand for which they will have to attach a copy of relevant caste certificates and domicile certificate issued by Competent Authority along with their application. The candidates belonging to reserved categories from State, other than Jharkhand, will be treated as General Candidates.

   Qualification: M.Sc. in Agriculture/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Forestry/ Geography/ Hydrology/ RS & GIS/ Geo-informatics with first class (ii) M. Tech. in Geo-informatics/ Remote Sensing&GIS with first class (iii) M.Sc.(Engg.) in Agriculture/ Water Resource/ Hydrology with first class (iv) B.Sc.(Engg.) in Agriculture/ Water Resource/ Hydrology with first class (v) BE/B.Tech. in Water Resource Engineering with first class. Proficiency in Image processing software (ERDAS, ENVI, etc.) & GIS Software (ARCGIS, MapInfo etc.).
   Experience: Minimum three years working experience in the field of Remote Sensing & GIS Applications.
   Age Limit: Upto 30 Years as on 31 July 2013
   Pay Scale: Rs. 20,000/-

2. Post Name: GIS Operator
   No. of Post: 03 Posts
   Qualification: B.Sc.in Agriculture/ Soil/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Forestry/ Mathematics/ Physics/Information Technology with First Class along with specialization in Geo-informatics/Remote sensing & GIS or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute and minimum Two years working experience in the field of RS&GIS. Proficiency in Image processing software (ERDAS, ENVI, etc.) & GIS Software (ARCGIS, MapInfo etc.).
   Age Limit: upto 30 Years as on 31 July 2013
   Pay Scale: Rs. 15,000/-
