Job Details: Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS from all islands of Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar to become airmen.
The Recruitment Test for Group "X" (Technical) Trades and Group "Y" (Non-Technical) [Except Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor, Indian Air Force (Police) and Musician] Trades will be held at Netaji Stadium, Port Blair (Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar).
1. For Group "X" (Technical) Trades
Qualification: Candidate should have passed Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma.
Pay Scale: Rs. 21,414/-PM (Approx)
2. For Group "Y" (Non-Technical) [Except Auto Tech,GTI, IAF (P) and Musician] Trades
Qualification: Candidate should have passed Intermediate or Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Two year Vocational Course affiliated/recognised by CBSE/State Education Boards/Councils duly recognised at par with 10+2 by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in VocationalCourse or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
Pay Scale: Rs. 17,630/-PM (Approx)
Age Limit: Candidates should be born between 1 May 1993 to 30 Nov 1996.
Selection Procedure: The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM onwards as per the details given below. Candidates reporting up to 10 AM at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.
The Recruitment Test is not for selection as Officers/Pilots/Navigators.

Stream / Activities: Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Interview for Group „Y? (Non-Technical) [Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) and Musician] Trades.

Stream / Activities: Medical Examination of candidates qualified in Interview on 15 April 2013.
