Job Details: Fresh applications are invited for the post of Research Associate under the time bound ICSSR project entitled “Vulnerability of Crop-Livestock farming system to Climate Variability and Global Economic change: A perspective of Karnataka State”.

Qualification: Masters Degree in Social sciences/ veterinary sciences/dairy sciences/ agricultural sciences
Desirable: Extension Education/ Agricultural Economics/ veterinary sciences/dairy sciences/ agricultural sciences. Knowledge of local language (Kannada). Experience in field research.
Working knowledge of Computers. Data analysis using statistical packages.
Age Limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women on the date of interview
Pay Scale: Rs. 16,000/-PM (consolidated)
How to Apply: Interested candidates for the said position may attend the walk in interview scheduled to be held on 15th December, 2012 at administrative Block of NIANP, Adugodi, Bangalore. Candidates appearing for interview should report before 10 AM on the interview date with duly filled and signed application form in the prescribed format, two sets of attested copies of certificates and testimonials along with original certificates. The candidates will not be paid any TA/DA and will have to make their own arrangements for travel, stay etc. for attending the interview.
